Reading List

The reading list requirements are as follows:

1. The CPLED Program Resource Materials (all subjects/parts),

2. The Alberta Code of Professional Conduct,

3. The trust accounting rules (being Part 5 of the Rules of The Law Society of Alberta.

As stated in Rule 66(4)(b), the requirement is that the applicant certify, to the satisfaction of the Executive Director, that he or she has familiarized himself or herself with Alberta law to the extent required to be able to practice competently in the areas in which the applicant intends to practice, including the materials required in the reading list required by the Executive Director.
