Each spring, the Law Society of Alberta in conjunction with our good friends at the Alberta Branch of the Canadian Bar Association selects four of our members to highlight their achievements and present to them the Distinguished Service Awards. This year's worthy recipients are featured in this issue of the Advisory. On behalf of the profession, I offer our congratulations and our gratitude for their dedication and service to the community, to the profession, to legal scholarship and to the provision of pro bono legal services.

countless numbers of lawyers throughout all Albertan communities. These awards are presented jointly by the Law Society of Alberta and the Canadian Bar Association Alberta.
